Vintage Copper & Wood Silent Butler

This silent butler, or crumb catcher, is made from copper and features a hinged lid and wooden handle. These were traditionally used to collect crumbs from tables after meals or to collect ash and cigarette butts from ashtrays. Now, it could be used as a decorative accent on a shelf or as a unique catchall. It is in vintage condition with some scratches and signs of wear.

Measures 10 1/4" in length, 5 1/4" in diameter and 2 1/4" tall
