Vintage Mexican Tile Trivet in Hand-Carved Wood Frame

This vintage trivet features a ceramic tile, with an ornate yellow and brown scroll design, set within a hand-carved wooden frame. Trivets like this are designed to protect surfaces from heat, providing a stable base for hot pots, pans or dishes, and can also be used as decorative items. It is in good vintage condition with some signs of use, including scratches on the surface of the tile, please see pictures.
